Seriously, I love Kylo, but who in their right mind would name their son that?
I can imagine a very upset, recently divorced mother, maybe...

I had to put my 18-year-old cat to sleep last year and have been bugging my husband to adopt a new kitten.  And I really want to name that new kitten Kylo. (Granted, we still have two other cats. And a cat isn't a human child.)

On a semi-related note, my ex-BF from college (we're still friends/happily partnered with other people) recently had to put his elderly cat to sleep then went out and adopted a kitten...and named that kitten Finn.

ETA: We should look at the popularity of the name "Kylo" as further proof that everyone wants to see him redeemed! And that some people are so confident in his redemption that they're naming children after him!

Ben would be normal, but Kylo? | It makes me think of those people who name their daughter "Khaleesi". Well, to each his own...

Ok, I love him, I do... but Kylo? No way. It works in the GFFA, not so much here in God's green Earth. Goes to show though, you'd think the most popular names would be Rey and Finn but nope, the GA ain't having it.

Haha yeaa Kylo is a cool name when you just say it, but the implications of the name make it a horrible choice. You named me after a father killer dad? Really? Lol

I love the name Ren though. And we've discussed how beautiful the meaning is =)
You could name twins Rey and Ren? But with reylo, weird implications =P

Kylo is similar to Kyle so it doesn't sound too geeky when you think about it. Not like naming your kid Spok.

Rey is a cute name, Ren is also a beautiful name with beautiful meanings but naming kids Kylo... Hein I can see a hardcore SW fan doing it but, it still an odd choice, at least no one yet to go above and beyond with the whole Kylo Ren or Phasma

But then who am I to judge seeing I'm also planing to name my future son, Revan  WinksD

As much as I adore Kylo Ren, if I ever had a child and named him Kylo, I think his father might have something to say about it!!!!

I would totally name my kid Kylo, until he was about 28 and stabbed me.

I do think it's very telling at their popularity though - Rey and Kylo. Together.

Hmm. The girl in my middle school class named Leia was mildly embarrassed about it. I wonder what all the little Kylos will think.

I guess they'll have awesome halloween costume options.

Kylo is an awesome name for a cat IMO. Naming your kid Kylo is weird though, as great character as he is.

Rey is a lovely name for a girl though.

Yuck! Reminds me of how back in 2011 when Skyrim came out some parents actually named their baby Dovahkiin... Shocked

However, in my mind it's firmly established that Kylo is a perfect name for a doberman.

Rey is a lovely name for a girl though.

Not to mention it's a traditional name. Heck I've met plenty of Rays before TFA came out, both guys and girls.
